Toys, toys, toys. When it comes to making a Christmas list, everyone always asks what kind of toys they can get the kids. Now, I'm not sure about your family, but we have lots and lots of toys -- too many in fact. Of course, we sort through them on a regular basis and store some away or save for hand-me-downs or donate to those in need.
When I look for a toy, I look for something that's multi-functioning, allowing independent play and can grow with the child. That way, it lasts a bit longer in our home and sustains the interest of the child.
