my Instagram you know all about my love for Burberry make up. It's a new found love, but one that I'm proudly sharing. Well, if you need last minute stocking stuffer ideas that'll wow the woman in your life, Burberry has a beautiful Festive Collection and I thought you should know.
The collection has everything from Burberry Kisses, beautiful shimmer palattes, nail polish and lovely eye shadows. Seeing as I'm obsessed with the Burberry Velvet lipstick, I thought I'd test out the two featured festive colours: Military Red and Festive Gold. Military Red is actually the most perfect red. It's not too blue, not too pink and stays on all day. Just like my other Burberry tones, it goes on like butter and leaves your lips silky and moisturized. The Festive Gold through me for a loop. Gold sparkly lipstick? I dunno about this.
Well, I was pleasantly surprised. I thought I'd look like a sparkly disco ball, but instead, the shimmer is subtle and the lipstick goes on almost sheer. It's actually a nice shade to wear in the daytime, or with a smoky eye at night. Perfect for New Year's Eve.
