Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting Rosie from Luromondo. I was featuring some of her bracelets in my annual gift guide. I loved her crystal bracelets, but I loved her character and spirit even more. She is such a generous and gentle soul, often sending me sweet messages. Her kindness is infectious and it gives me pride to support someone so wholesome and good.
A year later, I see Rosie about once a month at various local vendor shows, at talks and through mutual friends and connections. And we've discovered some other similarities that most would chalk up to coincidence -- we don't.
There is not a day where I am not sporting at least two of Rosie's crystal creations. Many might scoff, or roll an eye at the power of crystals, but I do believe in their healing properties. Sometimes, I may choose a bracelet or two to complement what I'm wearing, other times, I just gravitate towards a particular stone. Sometimes, I try them on, and they just don't work, so I need to change them up.
I've learned so much from Rosie this past year, including the properties of these stones, and how they actually choose me, and not the other way around. I've created quite a little collection (all bracelets in the photo are Luromondo, with the exception of my Tiny Devotions Mala Necklaces in the centre), and they have a prominent display where I can admire them all.
And so, it's only fitting I feature Luromondo in my 2017 Gift Guide. Crystals and crystal bracelets make excellent gifts, and Rosie can advise you on which ones to buy. She is an expert.
While Rosie does make beautiful custom pieces, her Etsy shop is open for pre-made beauties and you can catch Rosie at The Market Place by Mommunity every month. To find out where she'll be, visit her Instagram!
Luromondo has generously donated a Lava Stone bracelet to give away to one Simply Suppa reader. Lava Stone is a grounding stone that strengthens one's connection to Mother Earth. It gives strength and courage, allowing stability through times of change. It's a calming stone, useful in dissipating anger.
