Bring the Magic of Santa with Portable North Pole #PortableNorthPole

The Countdown to Christmas is officially on, and in addition to a little elf visiting our home and our Advent Calendar, we've added a new tradition: Portable North Pole.

Portable North Pole is a magical app that brings Santa to life, right before your eyes. Take a look:

Creating videos is super easy -- enter your child's information (pronunciation of names as well), add photos, and a few details about your child: do they go to school, daycare, who are their best friends, how old are they. When Santa delivers his message via video, all of these details will be in, sure to elicit an amazing response.  You can create as many videos as you want, share them and post them. 

One of my favourite features is the Reaction Recorder. When you select the option to play the video,  a pop up will ask you if you'd also like to record your child's reaction. This is priceless. A separate video will record capturing their amazement when they see and hear Santa and his elves.

The app is super versatile, too. Create Santa sELFies in the Kids Corner, and coming soon -- talking elf videos and a tree shaker. In the Parent's Corner (unlock-able with a code), create videos for kids and adults, and with Premium accounts, watch Santa fly from the North Pole on Christmas Eve, see what Christmas is like in various parts of the world and have Santa send a special Birthday message, too. Most videos are able to be personalized, adding that extra element of surprise and magic. I'm also a fan of the "Made Just for Grown-Ups" videos -- I made a silly video for my husband and we had a hoot watching it over and over. (Hint: Santa called my hubby a hottie -- he's right!)

NEW THIS YEAR: Portable North Pole has added a book -- Twenty-Four Sleeps Until Santa to its collection. When you purchase the book, on Amazon or Indigo (in-store and online), you will get a code to unlock a video from Santa.  Every night until Christmas, read a little poem at bedtime and help Santa find his magic keys on every page. (If you missed a few days, no worries, just catch up!) I love that we have this new tradition to add to our Christmas countdown excitement.
