If there's one thing I love to do, it's exploring different restaurants. I could base entire vacations around food, and when we didn't have kids, Donny and I definitely did that. Even more, though, I love to discover and re-discover places to eat close to home, that are accessible for families and offer good value for your dollar.
A couple weeks ago, Donny and I were invited to dine at Amano Kitchen at Market & Co at Upper Canada Mall. If you've never been to Market & Co, you'll want to read about it and watch the video on my blog.
We've been to Amano Kitchen before -- you're getting simple Italian dishes, done with a bit of a twist. It's casual, it's good for families and groups and the food is tasty. In Italian, a mano (two words) means "by hand", and all the pastas, as well as the sauces and spreads are all made in house.
We had the chance to sample Chef Michael Angeloni's new Spring menu, including brand new saucy and sticky "Jackie's Ribs", truffled portobello mushroom and a butternut squash ravioli.
Tune into my IGTV @simplysuppa later today, to get an up-close peek of the dishes on The Junket.
