Strong as Sheertex

Pantyhose, tights, leotards -- no matter what you call them -- it's usually accompanied by a groan -- ugh. I have a love/hate relationship with this legwear -- I love the look, but I hate the pulls, the rips, the snags. And I feel like every time I go out, I have to buy a new pair. Oh, and then there's the short girl problem, too: saggy crotch anyone?!

But I said yes, and I'm so very glad I did. 

Sheertex sent me three pairs: a sheer set in black, an opaque pair (thicker and darker) and their classic collection with shaping. They have some bold and sparkly colours too, and I kind of wish I tried those, too. But, I've worn these a handful of times and I'm seriously impressed:

• They actually don't rip. I tried. I pulled them. I put my nails in them. The dog jumped on me (that's always a guaranteed rip). Nada. I even washed them in the washing machine and put them in the dryer.
• They have a wide, thick waistband. They don't roll on me and they stay in place, which is nice. I don't feel like I have to pull them up mid-day. 
• They come in different lengths. If you're petite or tall, I know you're cheering here. Whenever something is pre-tailored, it makes my life so much easier, cause, really, I'm not shortening my pantyhose (is this even a thing!?), and now I don't have to tuck them into my bra.

So, what's the downside? Performance-wise, nothing. I love them.

But these are definitely an investment pantyhose; I figure -- if you're only buying one pair, it's worth it. Right?! Plus, all my favourite undergarments are the ones that cost me the most money.
