“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” -Dr. Seuss
Guys, it's already March. I can't speak for everyone out there, but for me, January and February flew by. I'm finding days are blurring together, weeks pass in the blink of an eye and seasons change without notice.
One promise I made to myself last year -- when I found I was spending too much time on my computer, working every weekend and weeknight -- was to "book" time to play, to have fun, to take time off. We also consciously spend more time with the kids, with our parents and siblings and family.
I'm getting better at keeping those coffee dates and get-together promises because time is fleeting and I don't want to let it pass me by. (So if we said we were going to get together -- message me and I'll make it happen!)
On top of all that, I'm also focusing on making memories -- however big or small. Whether it's a family vacation, an outing, or a lazy Sunday morning, I'm capturing these little moments -- both with my camera and my mind.
To quote the famous Dr. Seuss on his 116th Birthday, "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory."
So, cheers to that, Dr. Seuss. Here's to making memories every day. Happy Birthday.
